From James White’s site I discovered the following link which is in a way amusing, but in other way is creepy. James White said

Did you know you can watch the late John Paul II’s tomb via webcam? Yeah, here’s the link. The other webcam links are to outside monuments, which makes at least some sense (you can tell what the weather is, time of day, etc.), but putting a webcam on JPII’s tomb is just...creepy. I suppose you could watch the flowers wilt…

Maybe looking at the tomb gains us some indulgences, folks.

I guess we will not see a webcam too soon, Jonvil.  Since adventists don’t believe in the intermediate state of soul between death and resurrection, rather they don’t believe in the existence of the soul, and there are no expectations for supernatural apparitions.

You guys crack me up. But wasn’t there an obelisk at Ellen White’s grave site? This would make a great location to mount a web cam for a bird’s eye view (see some pictures here and here). Now please realize I am joking, but it is a little strange that an obelisk would be featured at the grave of Ellen White.

Odd indeed

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The obelisk symbolized the sun God Ra, or Re as some know him, and during the brief religious reformation of Akhenaten was said to be a petrified ray of the Aten, the sundisk. It was also thought that the God existed within the structure.

Amen brother. Both PJP II and EGW are pushing up daisies right now and awaiting the resurrection call to eternal life...just as the bible says. wink

Hey, BTW, what are the key functions to get the different smilies? Like the wide open gasping one earlier?

Guibox, in the “Post a New Reply” box, you should see a word next to the composition window that says “Smileys”. Click on this and you will have a multitude of choices. cool cheese  cool grin

In the “Fast Reply” box, the word “Smileys” is above the composition window.  surprised
