Haven’t written on here for a long time. I have a special prayer request. My son, in the Air Force, is going over seas the end of next month. He is usually gone for 3 months, but this time he will be working with the army and will be gone 6 months. Please remember him and all our military members in your prayers.
Thanks in advance for your prayers.

Where are your son going? I’m not asking this from pure curiosity, I’m from Romania and there is a constant traffic with soldiers in Bucharest at the hotels where I’m working from Afghanistan to USA and also we have military bases at the Black Sea since we are the country situated at the border of NATO in the east.
I’ll certainly be praying for your son. Anyone who willingly puts himself in harm’s way for the cause of freedom is a hero. Please thank him for his service to our country.
Gabriel, I do not know where they are sending him. All I know is that when he is flying, as a navigator in a C130 Hercules, he is only gone 3 months. Because he will be working with the army I am thinking he will not be flying. If he does make it to Romania, I will let you know.
Thanks for all your prayers. I truly do appreciate my Christian family. I do not mind telling you that tears are welling up in my eyes as I read you responses.
I know my son is in Good, Awesome hands as he is in God’s hands. He is where God wants him.
I am just being a typical mother.

When friends and acquaintances have a first new addition to the family (adoption or naturally) I always welcome them to the most joyful and terrifying experience in human history. When we have our first child we are faced with the reality that for the first time in our lives there exists a person that we love without bounds and for whom we would do literally anything!
In my opinion this is as close as we can get to knowing the love that our heavenly Father felt for us. And why it was that He sent His Son, Who bore the punishment that we so richly deserved. Soli Deo Gloria!
Thanks for all you support and prayers. Just got through talking with my son. He has been told he does not have the right experience for the job, so he is not going overseas at this time.
Do I have to tell you how happy I am right now. Thanks again.

Spent the past week with my son and his family. He was told Thursday he is being sent overseas for the same job he is not qualified for. He is to leave near the end of August and return February 2011. Once the powers that be got a hold of his name and the fact he has been state side for almost 5 years, they do not want to let go of him. I am asking for your prayers again.

Once again, we gather together to honor our Father in Heaven. We fully understand that He is sovereign, and in Him there is no evil. Therefore, because of these combined attributes and the knowledge that He loved us enough to send His Son to pay our debt, we must conclude that our very existence and all of our circumstances are under His full scrutiny and complete control at all times. May our Heavenly Father, Who’s love knows no bounds, give you His assurance and His peace.
It is to our Heavenly Father that we commend the health and welfare of Diana’s son. Not my will Father, but Yours alone…
Just want to keep you up to date. My son left for overseas today, August 17, 2010. He will be returning February 2011. I thank each of you for your prayers. So many people are praying for him and his safety. Thank you so much. I will keep you updated.
Love to each of you.
