Hey Christian art lovers,

As of today, Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, THE LAST SUPPER, is now highly magnified online.  It is traveling on the Internet at 16 billion pixels. Using the zoom tools, you can see this painting about four inches away.  Notice the transparent glasses on the table not noticeable in photographs. (http://www.haltadefinizione.com/en/) Enjoy!

Thanks Dennis for the link.

We are very fortunate here in Laguna Beach, that we have the very unique art show called the “Pageant of the Masters”, which has been playing now for 70 years.

There is a great tradition in that for all 70 years, they have ended the show with Da Vinci’s Last Supper, and with the beautiful music from the orchestra, it is always a very moving worshipful moment.

Dennis, thank you for sharing the link with us. The picture quality is amazing. Some of the greatest art and music in the world was inspired by the grand themes of Scripture.

I heard that someone was trying to do the same with the “Mona Lisa” and using infrared technology, they were peeling away the layers on the painting to see what was hidden underneath.
