I’m so glad to find this. Ex-adventists who are Reformed?! Who would have thought? smile I too am an ex-adventist who now rests in Christ’s finished work on the Cross, saved by His sovereign grace, to the Glory of God alone! I heard someone say recently that all man-made religion has man at the center of it. My (to this point) life-long experience with adventism has been summed up in that one short sentence. It reminds me of Genesis 11:4. We are all pelagian by birth. Or Adam and Eve after the fall, trying to cover themselves with their own filthy rags. We just do not naturally want to have to deal with the reality of the God of Scripture, who is completely sovereign and free to do as He pleases here on earth. The Reformed faith is the only church I have found that truly has The Triune Jehovah at the center of everything. Praise God for His glorious grace, by which He saves wicked men like me first to last, with no part of it dependent on my fickle wishes or desires. Thanks to all who made this site; I will come back often, as I love reading what you have to say and have learned so much from you already.

In Christ,
Nate
