Thank you for your kind words and your reference to the lectures of Mr Bahnsen. Is there somewhere on the web that I can find out more about this lecture (series)? Is it available to the public?
Is it not interesting how the doctrines of God’s infinite grace, absolute sovereignty, and His election of His people can be at the same time such a comfort to some, and so disturbing to others? As you hinted above, let us all demonstrate the love of Christ in our discussions.
May we all seek the Truth exclusively:

- by His grace
- in Christ Jesus
- for the glory and praise of our God in Heaven!

There are many lecture series available on that site that Dr. Bahnsen taught at various seminaries around the country. They have all been so helpful for me personally.
It never ceases to amaze me which people find comfort in the absolute sovereignty of God and which people are disturbed by it, as you said. Some people that I am sure are saved talk so disparagingly about such things. I on the other hand will rejoice at them the rest of my life, as I know there is no other way by which I can be saved. We all desperately need the living God who saves completely, first to last.
