Irresistible grace refers to God’s sovereign work in salvation whereby the Holy Spirit effectively calls and regenerates those whom God has chosen. This does not mean people are dragged unwillingly into the kingdom. Rather, it means that God changes the heart so that the sinner freely and joyfully comes to Christ.
