What is Hell Like?

In this episode, Costi Hinn unpacks what the Bible actually says about hell and why denying its reality undermines the holiness of God.

Unbridled Zionism
As premillennialists, we most certainly believe that there are specific prophecies about Israel that God will bring to pass in the future. But we must use discernment and walk in biblical balance so we don’t swing into an unbridled Zionism that does not match Scripture.
In this conversation, Costi Hinn and Jeff Durbin discuss the importance of rooting our views of Israel in Scripture rather than political agendas or speculative hearsay. Many today are blindly supporting movements in the name of “standing with God’s chosen people,” but Scripture reminds us that all who profess faith in Christ are God’s chosen people and a holy priesthood (1 Peter 2:5).

Forgiveness for Charlie's Killer?
There is a distinct difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. Forgiveness only takes one (we can “release” people to God), but reconciliation takes two (both parties need to agree on the sin, repentance, and forgiveness).
When we choose to forgive, we are following closely in the footsteps of Jesus, who said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).
Forgiveness does not negate justice or remove the consequences of sin, but it does release the sinful party to God and ensure bitterness has no root in our hearts. Bitterness will crush the soul, but forgiveness will renew it.
If God is Sovereign, Why Pray?
Many people wonder if prayer really makes a difference when God is in control. In this video, Kevin Hay explains why God’s sovereignty should move us to pray more, not less. He points to Jesus in Gethsemane as our perfect example of prayerful dependence.
