Omnipotence

The Definition
Merriam-Webster: The quality or state of having unlimited power.
FTG Expanded Explanation: Omnipotence means that God is all-powerful. He possesses unlimited power and is able to accomplish everything He purposes to do. Nothing outside of God can overpower, restrain, or frustrate Him. This does not mean God can do things contrary to His own nature. God cannot lie, sin, or deny Himself. Rather, God possesses all power necessary to accomplish His perfect will. He created the universe from nothing, rules over creation, directs history, raises the dead, saves sinners, and will ultimately accomplish every purpose He has ordained.

Jeremiah 32:17 – “Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.”
Psalm 115:3 – “But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.”
