The authority of Scripture means that the Bible carries the very authority of God Himself. Because Scripture is God’s Word, it speaks with divine authority over what we believe and how we live. The Bible is not merely a helpful spiritual resource or a collection of wise teachings. It is the final standard for truth, doctrine, morality, and practice.

The sufficiency of Scripture means that the Bible contains everything God intends His people to need for salvation, faith, and godly living. Scripture is not lacking, incomplete, or dependent on additional revelation, human tradition, or cultural insight to accomplish God’s purposes.

Election is the biblical doctrine that God, according to His sovereign will and grace, chose sinners for salvation in Christ before the foundation of the world. This choice was not based on foreseen merit, faith, or works, but solely on God’s purpose and mercy.

Biblical anthropology is the study of humanity as God created and defines it in Scripture. The Bible teaches that humans are made in the image of God, giving every person inherent dignity, value, and worth. At the same time, Scripture is clear that humanity is fallen and corrupted by sin in every part of our nature.

Angels are real, powerful, and active in Scripture—but they are never meant to be the focus. A biblical understanding of angelology helps us see angels in their proper place as servants of God, not substitutes for Christ.

The gospel is the good news that God saves sinners through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not advice, but news—what God has done through His Son to rescue sinners by grace alone through faith alone.

The Bible never treats demons as mythology or exaggeration. Understanding demonology helps believers stay sober-minded, discerning, and firmly anchored in the authority of Christ.
